Ever heard the song “I Was Country When Country Wasn’t Cool”? Well Assurance was flattening the curve long before curve flattening was cool. Click here to see exactly what I mean. We need your support to continue! Did you know there are special incentives for you to do just that right now? A generous supporting family has once again offered up a dollar-for-dollar match for the first $5,000 given to Assurance for KY Gives Day. But here’s the thing, you don’t have to wait. You can go ahead and give now, and your donation will be doubled! The Federal Government is also offering special charitable giving incentives available to all individual taxpayers. Read more about those here.
We are praying for those among our Assurance supporters who have experienced particularly grieving financial and health impacts. This is the time for the rest of us to step up and for you to simply have our care and support.
Since our founding, 4,641 lives have been saved. 39 just in the first three months of this year. Our work is not done though. In fact, even a pandemic has not stopped the abortion providers in our region. If anything, these times have further heightened many of the most common reasons our clients are considering abortion. Assurance is standing prayerfully and carefully, but strong in this season. And we need your help. We continue to offer our in-person ultrasound services to our most vulnerable and at-risk clients while offering all the rest of our support through telehealth options. We have made many adjustments to our modes of operation but none to our mission.
To encourage support of critical nonprofits during this challenging season, the Federal Government is also offering special charitable giving incentives available to all individual taxpayers. For 2020, there is a deduction available to all individual filers for $300 for qualified charitable donations, even if the filer is not itemizing. For those that do itemize, there will be no limit on the deductibility of charitable contributions.
To summarize, give $300 to Assurance now. Assurance gets $600 and you get the tax deduction.* That is my kind of math! It doesn’t have to be $300. Give what you can. Any amount will help.
Thank you in advance for making sure we can continue in service to those facing unplanned pregnancies in our region during these unprecedented times.
