Celebrating Freedom in Christ!

“I was so apprehensive about beginning this process but I feel so thankful to have had the opportunity to sit with you. CS Lewis is one of my favorite authors and lately I’ve been moved by the analogy he creates in Mere Christianity.  Lewis paints such a great picture of how God begins knocking down old walls and building new rooms with the intent of creating an entirely new place to live in for Himself. This process of forgiveness and healing feels like a completely new room that is being built inside me. It is a process. This week, we celebrate the 4th of July and particularly that we are free in this country to join together as the Body of Christ to worship and in acts of service to others. More than that, we celebrate freedom in Jesus Christ. This is illustrated beautifully in this note from a client as she started her journey of healing from an abortion.
