We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Emily Cunningham who has faithfully served as one of our medical directors for many years. Dr. Cunningham and her family are moving to another community and we ask that you join us in praying for the Lord to bless them as they go.
We have been praying for God to provide a new medical director to join Dr. Ramon Thomas who is continuing to serve in that position. We are thrilled to share that He has called Dr. Jeanne Bramer back to our ministry to serve another term as co-medical director. Dr. Bramer (formerly practiced under her maiden name O’Nan) received her medical degree from the University of Kentucky in 1995, where she also completed her residency in OB/GYN. She has been board certified since 2001.
Dr. Bramer was in private practice for 12 years in Lexington and during that time served as Assurance’s medical director before moving to Fairbanks, Alaska where she worked for the Indian Health Service for four years. She has returned to Kentucky, where she is working part time in an underserved clinic.
Dr. Bramer has been involved with several medical missions as well as working with pregnancy centers for the past 20 years. She has been a member of the American Association of Pro-life Obstetricians and Gynecologists (AAPLOG) since 2013 and has served on its board since 2017. She is on the board of La Cima Medical Missions and serves as a consultant for Earth Mission Asia. She is also on the medical advisory team for CareNet.
Please join us in welcoming Dr. Bramer back to Assurance, in praising God for providing once again for our ministry, and in praying for Dr. Bramer and Dr. Thomas as they serve as our co-medical directors.
